Additional Features
Beyond launching and participating in a Liquidity Generation Event (LGE), OhShii ships a set of trading, cross-chain, analytics, and safety features that make a launched token usable from day one. This page covers integrated ICPSwap trading, the Bitcoin gateway, the Guardian emergency role, the referral plan, the Bubble Map, the Transaction Explorer, and the rest of the platform toolset.
Integrated Trading with ICPSwap
Section titled “Integrated Trading with ICPSwap”The creator sets the LGE’s fundraising target — any multiple of 500 ICP, from 500 up to 5000 ICP (500, 1000, 1500, … 5000). Once an LGE reaches that target and the pool is created on ICPSwap, the token becomes immediately tradable:
- on ICPSwap like any other asset;
- directly from the LGE page, without transferring tokens or manually accessing ICPSwap.
Routing always happens through ICPSwap, but the experience is fully integrated in the launcher.
Cycle Control
Section titled “Cycle Control”Cycles are the Internet Computer’s compute fuel: every canister must hold cycles to keep running, and one that runs out is frozen until it is topped up. This is a separate concern from ICPSwap trading — it applies to each canister a launched token relies on. OhShii monitors the cycle balance of your token’s ledger, index, and governance canisters, as well as its ICPSwap pool, and a cycle recharge button is available directly on the LGE page so you can top up any of them before it gets stuck.
Bitcoin Gateway
Section titled “Bitcoin Gateway”OhShii also integrates participation via Bitcoin — no custodians, no traditional bridges. Bitcoin is represented on the Internet Computer as ckBTC through DFINITY’s native chain-key minter:
- Deposit BTC (minimum 101 satoshis).
- Automatic minting to ckBTC.
- Swap ckBTC → ICP via ICPSwap.
- Use ICP to participate in LGEs.
- Option to convert ICP or tokens back to ckBTC, then redeem ckBTC for native BTC at any time.
The entire process is managed directly by the platform with deterministic addresses, automatic monitoring, and integrated swaps.
Guardian Role — Emergency Brake and Recovery
Section titled “Guardian Role — Emergency Brake and Recovery”Each DAO can have a guardian: a single principal chosen through governance, with a deliberately narrow role.
What the guardian can do
Section titled “What the guardian can do”- Veto a Critical proposal while it is still open. The veto is not final: it opens a 24-hour community override round, and if the override passes the proposal executes.
- Resign. The guardian principal is then set to the management canister (
aaaaa-aa), which no one can act as, so the role can no longer be exercised until the DAO appoints a new guardian. - Run limited recovery actions when an automatic step is stuck — for example retrying a stalled campaign step, or rebuilding the canister’s internal lookup tables from the records they are derived from. Funds moved by a recovery action go only to destinations fixed in code, such as the DAO’s own treasury.
What the guardian cannot do
Section titled “What the guardian cannot do”- Change, delete or replay any proposal, vote or result.
- Change any DAO-voted parameter. Only a Critical governance proposal can.
- Withdraw funds or choose where funds go.
- Remove verification or delegation records.
- Change its own seat: only an approved governance proposal can appoint, replace or remove the guardian.
For the full rules — where the guardian comes from, how the override round works, and how the community removes a guardian — see Governance Rules.
Referral Plan
Section titled “Referral Plan”Optional — only for those who want to earn referral rewards.
Referrers earn a share (up to 5%, by Voting Power tier) of a capped referral band, paid only if the LGE succeeds and claimed from the campaign’s own DAO, not from OhShii. This is completely optional and not required to participate in LGEs.
To become a referrer and start earning, purchase a referral code for 3 ICP. This is only for those who want to earn referral rewards from their network.
Visit the Sponsor System / participation page to learn more about how to become a referrer and start earning from your network.
Complete Transparency
Section titled “Complete Transparency”During token purchases, the app shows where the fees go and how they are distributed among referrers.
BubbleMap — Interactive Token Flow Visualization
Section titled “BubbleMap — Interactive Token Flow Visualization”BubbleMap is an advanced visualization tool that allows you to explore token flows and holder relationships in an interactive and intuitive way.
Key Features
Section titled “Key Features”- Interactive bubble visualization of token holders and their balances
- Real-time transaction tracking between addresses
- Automatic identification of special addresses (Creator, Minting Account, OhShii Locker, DEX pools)
- Custom labels for tracking specific wallets of interest
- Whale tracking with emoji indicators based on balance size
- Support for both LGE tokens and custom minted tokens
- Multi-level transaction depth analysis
How to use: Select any LGE from the LGE list, and click on the BubbleMap button to visualize token distribution and flows. You can zoom, drag bubbles, and click on addresses to see detailed transaction history.
Transaction Explorer — Complete Transaction History
Section titled “Transaction Explorer — Complete Transaction History”Even if your token launched with OhShii Launcher is not yet listed on ICExplorer, you can still view transactions and balances here.
Key Features
Section titled “Key Features”- Browse all transactions for any token launched on OhShii (LGE or Minted)
- Search transactions by specific Principal ID or Principal:Subaccount
- Support for archive canisters with automatic data fetching
- Real-time balance display for searched principals
- Transaction type identification (Transfer, Mint, Burn, Approve)
- Color-coded incoming/outgoing transactions for easy tracking
- Pagination with configurable page sizes (10–200 transactions)
- Direct links to transaction participants for quick navigation
How to use: Select a token from the dropdown, then either browse all transactions or search for a specific Principal ID. Click on any address in the transaction list to see its complete history.
Additional Platform Features
Section titled “Additional Platform Features”- Cycle management tools: monitor cycles, check canister status, and manually top up cycles for the ledger canister, index canister, governance canister, and ICPSwap pool canister.
- Cycles by card: the Cycles Top-up page can also buy cycles with a card through CyclePay, a third-party service (the one icp-cli’s
icp cycles buyuses). Your principal creates the order, you pay on a Stripe page opened by QR code or link, and CyclePay tops up the canister directly or credits your Cycles Ledger account. The payment goes to CyclePay; no OhShii fee applies, and refunds for a card order are CyclePay’s. - Standalone token creation: ICRC-1/2/3 tokens without fundraising, with custom options.
- Index canister creation: also for tokens external to the platform.
- Advanced withdraw management: support for principal ID, subaccount, and optional memo.
- Dedicated Cross-Chain tab: deposit Bitcoin and convert it into ICP even outside LGEs (and redeem back to BTC at any time), gaining access to the ICP ecosystem. Solana is already supported too — deposit SOL and swap SOL ↔ ICP via Menese Protocol. Support for further chains will follow.
